In the third interview of our new series, Who are the people next door we talked to the co-founder of Dual Audio Services and mum of a 6-month-year-old, Emily Porter. In case you didn’t get a chance to meet Emily just yet, we’d like to introduce her to you, today:

 

So, Emily, what are you doing at 7 Labatt Place? Please tell us about your position and the company you are working for!

With my partner Stefan, I run an Audio company that has been located at 7 Labatt Place for just over a year. We design and provide sound systems for Theatre, concerts and events.

 

What kind of advice would you give to someone, who wants to start a business? 

My advice would be to spend a little extra time planning before you start, it will pay off.

I am just beginning the adventure of motherhood with my 6-month-old baby boy, Jameson. It has been an exhausting but amazing experience so far.

 

What do you like about office space rental Toronto at 7 Labatt Place?

The location of 7 Labatt cannot be beat. It’s a perfect combination of off the main road and accessible to any where you need to go or our clients may be coming from.

 

Do you have suggestions/ambitions/ideas to make this building an even better working and community environment?

This building is large and houses more business than I realized in our 1^st year here.

I think things are in the works so we can all be more aware of each other and use each others services.
